I understand that choosing a cosmetic dentist can be a challenge, often
leaving you feeling somewhat uncertain and maybe a little nervous.
To help, I would like to share with you some insights about how my team and I
work with our patients. Many people find our approach refreshing and different
from dental practices they have attended in the past.
In short, our purpose is to enhance the quality of our patient’s lives by
helping them to achieve the smile and level of dental health which they want.
Instead of telling you what your smile should look like and how healthy you
ought to be, we will help you understand your choices and then let you make a
free informed decision.
Your first choice in this regard is how you would like to begin as a patient
with us. There are three levels of care from which people may choose to be seen
in our practice.
These are:
Self-care
Patients who choose this level of care want a comprehensive dental health check
while taking an active part in the treatment of current problems and prevention
of future dental disease. However they normally choose treatment solutions which
are short ranging in nature.
Complete dentistry
Patients at this level choose to undertake a comprehensive dental health check.
They are concerned about treating the causes of dental disease, not simply the
effects, and they wish all dental treatment provided to be completed in the most
lasting fashion possible.
Look and feel your best
People choosing this service want complete dentistry as far as long term dental
health is concerned, but also want to look and feel their best at all times. To
them an attractive smile is an important asset in both their personal and social
lives. Consequently, their long term treatment plans are designed to create and
maintain the smile they have always dreamed of.
I hope these levels of care make sense to you. It is not uncommon for people to
begin at one level and progress to another over time.
My team and I are here to answer any questions that you may have, and help you
understand and decide at what level of care you are most comfortable.
