We usually carry out crown treatment over a period of two weeks with two separate treatment sessions. During the first session, we will prepare the tooth and create an impression to be used by dental technicians to create your custom-made crown. Preparing the tooth involves removing the decayed tissue, cleaning the tooth thoroughly and shaping it. Once the new crown is ready, the second session can take place. This is usually around 14 days later. The crown is placed over the tooth and then secured using adhesive.
