We now offer mini dental implants – an affordable alternative to regular dental implants
What Are Mini Dental Implants?
Clifton Dental Studio in Bristol offer Mini Dental Implants. Miniature or mini implants are an affordable alternative to regular dental implants. They can be used to stabilise dentures to make them feel more natural, comfortable and secure. You can eat, talk and laugh with more confidence and stop using messy denture fixative gels or cremes.
Mini implants are much more affordable than regular implants.
On the lower jaw four implants can be used to stabilise the denture, the upper jaw needs 6.
Often the implants can be placed to fit you existing dentures. If your dentures are old or poor fitting it may be necessary to have a new dentures made to fit the miniature implants.

Are Implants Expensive and Why should i choose Clifton?

replacing a single tooth, several teeth or a full set of missing teeth
Dental implants are now proven to be the most successful and beneficial way of replacing a single tooth, several teeth or a full set of missing teeth. They are strong, realistic and permanent, providing an improved appearance and the ability to eat what you want. A dental implant is a tiny titanium post that is gently placed into your mouth. Over time the bone grows around and bonds with the titanium to provide a secure base for a tooth, providing a strong, stable and durable false tooth root.
The latest techniques combined with modern materials mean we can provide replacements for missing teeth that look realistic and function well.
We can use implants, bridgework, dentures or a combination of techniques to give you a smile that you can be proud of.

Ill Fitting Dentures
Traditional dentures are often fitted onto a plate, which can cover a large area of your mouth and can also be quite loose. This can affect your speech and taste and can make it difficult to eat certain foods. Unsurprisingly, this can also affect your self-confidence when speaking and eating. Implant-supported dentures are much smaller and are held firmly in place by the implants, making them the next best thing to still having your natural teeth.
At Clifton Dental Studio, we pride ourselves on providing the most innovative and effective dental treatments for our clients. We have a range of dental implant solutions to replace either a single or several missing teeth including root and plate form implants.
We now also offer the All-on-4 Dental Implant System, which is able to replace a full set of teeth in just a single day. It has accordingly been given several fitting names including Teeth in a Day, Same Day Teeth, Same Day Smiles and All-on-4 Implants.
All-on-4 Dental Implants
What is All-on-4 Dental Implant Treatment?
The All-on-4 Dental Implant System uses just 4 dental implants to support a full arch of teeth on the upper, lower or both jaws. Other implant solutions require 6 to 10 dental implants for attaching a denture or crown. The All-on-4 Dental Implant System reduces the amount of dental implants needed and the treatment time, which usually involves hours of treatment and months of healing time.
How does All-on-4 Dental Implant Treatment work?
Depending on the health of your teeth, you may or may not require root canal treatment or bone grafting before the implant is fitted. However, your dentist will advise you on pre-implant preparation necessary for your circumstance. This might include temporary implants to encourage bone fusion before your permanent fixture.
The All-on-4 Dental Implant System works similarly to other implant procedures, with the main distinction being the angle at which the implants are inserted and the time taken to complete the treatment. The usual manner in which dental implants are inserted into the jawbone is at a vertical angle.
The new All-on-4 Dental Implant System involves placing the dental implants at the back of the mouth into the jawbone at a 45-degree angle. By altering the angle at which the implant is inserted, the teeth gain greater stability because bone fusion can occur at a faster rate.
What are the benefits of All-on-4 Dental Implant Treatment?
The main benefits of the All-on-4 Dental Implant Treatment include:
- Fewer implants are needed to replace teeth and give you a natural looking set of bright teeth to improve your appearance and smile within a few hours.
- Greater stability and support is given to your jawbone and teeth for oral comfort and control.
We want to make All-on-4 implant treatment available to everyone and so offer affordable rates, whatever your budget.
